While I love Atwater Beach so much, this is always the first beach I recommend for photo sessions. It's so stunningly beautiful, usually less crowded, and the kids LOVE the walk down to this spot. It's not stroller friendly and it's about an.8 minute walk through the trails to get here but it's 1000% worth it!
